Showing up late is cool

None of the improv lessons with the girls were longer then 20 minutes, because the girls needed to have lunch or make there homework or getting new shoes or ... Eventhough it was great fun to teach them some games in those moments and receive all the hughs and the kisses from them.
It´s realy difficult to make appointments with the Gueatemaltecos. They have the habit of being at least half an hour late or not showing up at all. So on saturday I finally learned and showed up way to late which gave me probably lots of respect an the possiblilty to give my first real theater lesson. On this day the boys were free (the girls go to church on Saturday and the boys every Sunday). Of the 12 boys with an age of nine or more, 4 of them had a mind of a 5 year which made it a bit more difficult. It was a hell making only a circle without a figth or boys running away. But after half an hour and sending some boys out of the room, it worked much better and we did some great theater games. On the end they asked me while hanging on my arms: "Binkie when are you coming again?". So of course next Saturday I go again.
The kids are very poor, sleep with 50 kids in one room and hardly have cloths to wear or books and stuff for school. It was pretty impressive to see a place like that.
