I`m in San Cristobal de las Casas in Mexico. A wonderful and colorful colonial city in the south of Mexico. I love this town, it`s beautiful a little European and there`s lots to do (live music, famous for its artmovies, great food) A little like Amsterdam. But actualy after two months of traveling and still many months to go I feel realy relaxed and did nothing more today then reading my Spanish book in the sun and walked a little around. I`ll stay here for a while.
I haven`t met a lot of people here. They speak twice as fast Spanish in Mexico than Guatemala and it`s difficult to start a conversation. That`s why I`ll move friday to a hippie hostal with only Spanish speaking people in stead of my comfertable room in a guesthouse (see picture). Many tourist here are France. No idea why. There are many shops with croissants and baquettes?! The first French people I met here, live in Strasbourg. Small world!
