just a normal day

I´m in Cartagena a beautiful city in the north of Colombia. It is very touristy, what I don´t like very much, but I have a great couchsurf address (the first night she served me and 4 other couchsurfers in the same house fresh lobster in a coconut curry, hmmmmmm). So I plan my trips from this house.
Yesterday I went to San Onofre. It is like 2 hours from Cartagena in bus. It is a small village in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do, but they had Internet and I found out that there happened to be a nice beach at half an hour. I found a motor taxi, hoped on the back of this motor (of course without helmet) and the guy brought me to "el Rincon del Mar". It was a beautiful trip on a unpaved road in a palm tree countryside. I saw a huge green iguana running at the side of the motor, lot´s of colorful birds, many cows walking on the road, naked children playing in the rivers on the side, and donkeys loaded with firewood. And no other tourists!! The motor conductor knew everybody and said more then a hundred times "hola primo" (hello nephew). I told him; "Wow, you´ve a huge family!". He started to laugh, because that´s the way how people say hello to each other over there. He brought me to a virgin beach with white beaches, palm trees and a turquoise ocean. He gave me a tour in the village which were wooden houses at the beach side and said another hundred time "Hola primo".
Always when I´m in the middle of nowhere I ask what the special food is of the district. So I ate bread filled with coco and a sesame sugar ball (which tasted like burned sugar, yak). Just a nice and relaxing day of travelling.
